Madjid Tavana is Professor and Distinguished Chair of Business Analytics at La Salle University, where he serves as Chairman of the Business Systems and Analytics Department. He also holds an Honorary Professorship in Business Information Systems at the University of Paderborn in Germany.  Dr. Tavana is Distinguished Research Fellow at the Kennedy Space Center, the Johnson Space Center, the Naval Research Laboratory at Stennis Space Center, and the Air Force Research Laboratory. He was recently honored with the prestigious Space Act Award by NASA. He holds an MBA, PMIS, and PhD in Management Information Systems and received his Post-Doctoral Diploma in Strategic Information Systems from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has published 22 books and over 300 research papers in international scholarly academic journals.  Dr. Tavana is the Editor-in-Chief of Decision Analytics Journal, Healthcare Analytics, Space Mission Planning and Operations, International Journal of Applied Decision Sciences, International Journal of Management and Decision Making, International Journal of Communication Networks and Distributed Systems, and International Journal of Knowledge Engineering and Data Mining. He is also an editor of Annals of Operations Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Intelligent Systems with Applications, and Journal of Innovation and Knowledge.

Prof. Srikanta Patnaik is Director of I.I.M.T., Bhubaneswar, India. He has received his Ph. D. (Engineering) on Computational Intelligence from Jadavpur University, India in 1999. He has supervised more than 30 Ph. D. Theses and 100 Master theses in the area of Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Soft Computing Applications and Re-Engineering. Dr. Patnaik has published around 100 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He is author of 2 text books and 55 edited volumes and few invited book chapters, published by leading international publisher like IEEE, Elsevier, Springer-Verlag, Kluwer Academic, etc..

Dr. SrikantaPatnaik is the Editors-in-Chief of International Journal of Information and Communication Technology and International Journal of Computational Vision and Robotics published from Inderscience Publishing House, England and, Editor of Journal of Information and Communication Convegence Engineering and Associate Editor of Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems (JIFS), which are all Scopus Index journals.

Taosheng Wang is a doctor, professor of Applied Economics (International Trade Direction), specialist of General Office of the State Council, director of Chinese Society of World Economy, Vice Chairman of the Expert Committee of China Association of Trade in Service, master tutor. He is the dean of School of Business of Hunan International Economics University, chief expert of the provincial-level social science key research base. He is also foregoer of provincial-level key construction course ‘International Trade’, provincial-level teaching team ‘International Trade’, provincial-level characteristic specialty ‘International Economics and Trade‘. His main research areas are international economic and trade theory and policy; institutional innovation and international trade; international competitive advantage and competitive strategy.

Prof. Zuhua Jiang

He is a doctor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a deputy director of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management , School of Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of Shanghai dawn Scholar&Automotive Modernization Management Branch of China Society of Automotive Engineers in 2005. Member of the Industrial Engineering Committee of Shanghai Mechanical Engineering Society. In 2002 and 2006, he visited the University of Hong Kong and Konstanz Applied University respectively for half a year. Participate in the 973 project in Knowledge management method and technology of  innovative design in Grid Environment and National Natural Science Foundation key projects “ Virtual Manufacturing” and 863 key project “ Innovative design of passenger car ”. Responsible for or participated in more than 20 projects including 863 Project Concurrent Design, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission Project Concurrent Engineering, SAIC Mechanical CAD/CAE Project, Huawei and Baosteel Equipment Management Project. He obtained second prize of China State Shipbuilding Corporation and Jiangsu Science and Technology progress ( second and fourth). He extensive experiences with Knowledge Engineering and Knowledge Management, Virtual Design, AI, Management Information System. He has published more than 60 papers, 5 of which are included by SCI and 20 of  which are included by EI. He is the author of two books and participated in the compilation of two books. He also has published one invention patent. He is mainly engaged in Knowledge Management, Decision Support System ( DSS), Customizing Product Designs, Ergonomics, Device Maintenance and Life Prediction research.

Dr. Shoulin Yin

Shenyang Normal University, China

Shoulin Yin is a PhD. Currently he is a lecture in Shenyang Normal University, Shenyang, China and the Deputy Director of Intelligent Information Processing Laboratory in Shenyang Normal University. He has published more than 100 technical articles in scientific journals and conference proceedings. His current research interests include Software Engineering, AI, Cloud Computing, Network Security, Image processing, Remote Sensing, Pattern Recognition. Dr. Yin's research work focuses on various image processing and computation communication methods through technology, developing new and innovative approaches for industrial control, remote sensing image, medical imaging. He has worked with hospitals, education groups in China and internationally on a number of projects. Dr. Yin has worked with a number of engineers, educator. Projects included work with images, sensors, web applications, and HIPAA compliant cloud servers. His experience extends to working with military institution in China. Prof. Dr. Hang Li is a Professor and master supervisor in the Software College, Shenyang Normal University. Dr. Yingxu Wang is professor of cognitive systems, brain science, software science, and intelligent mathematics. He is the founding President of International Institute of Cognitive Informatics and Cognitive Computing (I2CICC).  He is FIEEE, FBCS, FI2CICC, FAAIA, and FWIF. He has held visiting professor positions at Univ. of Oxford (1995, 2018-2022), Stanford Univ. (2008, 2016), UC Berkeley (2008), MIT (2012), and a distinguished visiting professor at Tsinghua Univ. (2019-2022). He received a PhD in Computer Science from the Nottingham Trent University, UK, in 1998 and has been a full professor since 1994. He is the founder and steering committee chair of IEEE Int’l Conference Series on Cognitive Informatics and Cognitive Computing (ICCI*CC) since 2002. He is founding Editor-in-Chiefs and Associate Editors of 10+ Int’l Journals and IEEE Transactions. Prof. Andrew W. H. Ip received his PhD from Loughborough University (U.K.), MBA from Brunel University (U.K.), MSc in Industrial Engineering from Cranfield University (U.K.), and LLB (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton (U.K.). Dr Ip was awarded in 2015 “Gold Medal with the Congratulations of Jury” and “Thailand Award for Best International Invention” in the 43rd International Exhibition of Geneva, and he was awarded the “Natural Science Award ” in 2013 Ministry of Education Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards by the Ministry of Education of Mainland China. Dr. Ip is visiting professor of Civil Aviation University of China, South China Normal University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Honorary Fellow of the University Warwick, Warwick Manufacturing Group. He is Professor Emeritus and adjunct professor of Mechanical Engineering, University of Saskatchewan and principal research fellow of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Ph.D.Nadia Nedjah

Nadia Nedjah graduated in 1987 in Systems Engineering and Computation and in 1990 obtained an M.Sc. degree also in Systems Engineering and Computation. Both degrees were obtained form University of Annaba, Algeria. Since 1997 she holds a Ph.D. degree from University of Manchester – Institute of Science and Technology, UK. She joined the Department of Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications of the Engineering Faculty of the State University of Rio de Janeiro as an Associate Professor. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journals of High Performance System Architecture and the International Journals of Innovative Computing Applications, both published by Inderscience, UK. She published three authored books about Functional and Rewriting Languages, Hardware/Software Co-design for Systems Acceleration and Hardware for soft Computing vs. Soft Computing for Hardware. She executed 25 research projects in different Computer Science and Engineering topics. She guest edited more than 20 special issues for high impact journals and more than 45 organized books on computational intelligence related topics, such as Evolvable Machines, Genetic Systems Programming and Swarm Intelligent Systems. She authored about 120 journal papers, 45 book chapters and more than 170 conference papers. She is Associate Editor of more than 15 international journals, such as the Francis & Taylor’s International Journal of Electronics, Elsevier’s Integration, The VLSI Journal and Microprocessors and Microsystems and IET’s Computer & Digital Techniques. She organized two major conferences related to computational intelligence: the 7th edition of Intelligent Systems Design and Application and the 5th edition of Hybrid Intelligent Systems. She also was one of the co-founder of the International Conference on Adaptive and Intelligent Systems.

Sam Kwong received the B.Sc. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY, in 1983, the M.A.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 1985, and the Ph.D. degree from the Fernuniversität Hagen, Hagen, Germany, in 1996. From 1985 to 1987, he was a Diagnostic Engineer with Control Data Canada, where he designed the diagnostic software to detect the manufacture faults of the VLSI chips in the Cyber 430 machine. Currently, he is the associate editor of Evolutionary Computation, the Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions On Industrial Informatics, the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, the Journal of Information Science. He is a  Professor of the department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong. He is also the Vice President for IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics of SMCS. Prof. Kwong was elevated to IEEE fellow for his contributions on Optimization Techniques for Cybernetics and Video coding in 2014. His research areas are in Pattern Recognition, Evolutionary Computations and Video Analytics.

Dr. B. B. Gupta received PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India in the area of Information and Cyber Security. In 2009, he was selected for Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship award by Government of Canada. He has published more than 250 research papers (including 08 books and 24 book chapters) in International Journals and Conferences of high repute including IEEE, Elsevier, ACM, Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, Inderscience, etc. He has visited several countries, i.e. Canada, Japan, Australia, China, Spain, Hong-Kong, Italy, Malaysia, etc. to present his research work. His biography was selected and published in the 30th Edition of Marquis Who's Who in the World, 2012. In addition, he has been selected to receive 2017 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award’ and ‘2017 Bharat Vikas Award’ by Marquis Who's Who in the World, USA and ISR, India, respectively. Dr. Gupta also received Sir Visvesvaraya Young Faculty Research Fellowship Award in 2017 from Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, government of India. Recently, he has received ‘2018 Best Faculty Award for research activities’ and ‘2018 Best Faculty Award for Project and Laboratory Development’ from NIT Kurukshetra, India and 2018 Rula International Award for Best Researcher.

He is also working as principal investigator of a number of R&D projects sponsored by various government of India funding agencies (i.e. Department of Science & Technology (DST), Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), NITI Aayog, etc). He is serving as Associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Access, Associate editor of IJES, inderscience, editor, IJHPCN, inderscience and Executive editor of IJITCA, Inderscience, respectively. Moreover, Dr. Gupta is also leading International Journal of Cloud Applications and Computing (IJCAC), IGI Global, USA as Editor-in-Chief. He also served as TPC Chair of 2018 IEEE INFOCOM: CCSNA and publicity chair of 10th NSS 2016 which were held in USA and Taiwan, respectively. He is also founder chair of FISP and ISCW workshops which organize in different countries every year. Dr. Gupta received outstanding paper awards in both regular and student categories in 5th IEEE Global Conference on Consumer Electronics (GCCE) in Kyoto, Japan during Oct. 7-10, 2016. In addition, he received Best Poster presentation award and People choice award for Poster presentation in CSPC-2014, Aug., 2014, Malaysia. He served as Jury in All IEEE-R10 Young Engineers' Humanitarian Challenge (AIYEHUM-2014), 2014. Prof.Dr. Kris Law

Deakin University, Australia

Dr. Kris Law is currently the Associate Professor in Engineering Management and Education, in the School of Engineering, Deakin University, Australia. She also holds a Docentship (adjunct professorship) in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, Oulu University in Finland.

Dr. Law obtained her PhD in Organization Learning and MPhil in Machining Processes as well a first degree in Industrial Engineering, at the City University of Hong Kong. She undertook a post-doctoral research scholarship in the National Taiwan University on a regional high-tech industry study and took up a visiting researcher position at the Graduate Institute of Industrial Engineering, National Taiwan University (2009-2011).

Her expertise lies in Organizational Learning and Development (OLD), Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship (TIE), Engineering Education, and Smart Industrial Initiatives (SII). She has been invited as a visiting scholar in different countries, such as Taiwan, Thailand and Europe (Finland and Slovenia), and has been active as a professional OL consultant promoting project-based action learning (PAL) in high-tech organizations.

Her publications including books, book chapters and journal articles (SCI and SSCI indexed).

Dr. WU Chun Ho, Jack

The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong

Dr Wu excels in his role with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) as a researcher with more than a decade of professional experience. Having held numerous roles with the university previously, his expertise precedes him. Previously, he was a project fellow for the RFID Solutions Laboratory, and a visiting lecturer for the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, PolyU, and the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, Hang Seng Management College.

Over the years, Dr Wu worked closely with many industrial partners such as Towngas Telecommunications Co Ltd, Leo Paper Bags Manufacturing (1982) Ltd, Dr Kids Education Group Ltd, and Photon Int. Ltd, to support and contribute to the formulation of their business strategies, operations improvement and new product development. Dr Wu was the recipient of the Big Data Analysis Award from the China & Hong Kong Enterprise Market Development Association in 2014, and the Best Reviewer Award for a journal entitled Internet Research in 2016. In 2015, his biographical profile has been selected for inclusion in the Marquis Who's Who in the World(R) 2016.

Dr Wu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and a PhD in Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering. He also holds a six sigma black belt certification from the Hong Kong Society of Quality and he contributes regularly to research papers in the areas of Internet of Things, Engineering Optimisation and Business Intelligence. In collaboration with several scholars at PolyU, Tianjin University, Sun Yat-sen University, The University of York, etc, his project works and research outcomes have been presented in 10+ international conferences and published in 30+ international refereed journals, such as Information Science, Internet Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Enterprise Information Systems, Industrial Management and Data Systems. He is also one of the authors of IoT: The Basic, Applications and Case Studies (in Chinese; ISBN: 978-986-925-960-6), and System Design and Technology of Biomedical Internet of Things (in Chinese; ISBN: 978-986-84784-7-3).

To stay at the top of his field, Dr Wu is a member of IEEE and the British Machine Vision Association & Society for Pattern Recognition, and a senior member of the Hong Kong Society of Quality. Additionally, Dr Wu serves on the editorial boards of the International Journal of Engineering Business Management, and Enterprise Information Systems. As he looks to the future, Dr Wu intends to continue researching in the field of smart logistics and manufacturing.

Prof. Yikui Zhai is an associate professor of electronics and information engineering at School of Information and Engineering, Wuyi University, since 2013. He has received Signal and Information Processing Ph.D degree at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics(Also named Beihang University) in June 2013.His major research interests are focusing on machine learning/vision, biometric recognition, signal/video processing and statistical data analysis. I am also working on content based image retrieval. I have published over 30 peer-reviewed articles in premier conferences and journals. I won the Young Excellent Teacher Award in 2014 by provincial government. I enjoy to develop efficient algorithms with nice theoretical guarantees to solve practical problems involved large scale data.
